The employee monthly attendance sheet template was first created to help people keep track of employee annual leave. The blank payroll sheets could also be used for regular daily reporting of all information on an employee’s time. The annual leave tracking was often complicated and confusing, so the template helped streamline the tracking and help people understand their records better.

To make the template even easier to use, it was designed to cope with many templates included. The template allows the user to change the default names for the columns of records. The employee name column is usually the same for all employees, but you can change the name to something more specific if you want.
This template comes with a blank Excel worksheet with five rows and two columns that have three sections. The top section is a table with six columns with column headers that list the employee’s name, department, and number. The bottom section of the template is a worksheet with three rows and three columns.

This worksheet is where the various fields are listed. The Fields tab is where you can add in the different fields that are required. There are two main fields in this tab. They are the First Name field and the Last Name field.
Both fields have the option to choose whether to display the full first name or just the first initial. If you would like the full first name, then select the first option on the First Name tab. You can also add in the department or the company in which the employee works as a field for this tab.

Then there is the Second Name field. It displays the employee’s last name, but if you would like a more personal version of this field, then select the personal option on the Second Name tab. The Last Name field can be left blank if you do not want this field, but if you would like to show the employee’s full last name, then select the full option on the Last Name tab.
Finally, there is the Top Line Tab. This tab allows you to enter the amount of time an employee is expected to be on duty per week. To change this option, just click on the appropriate tab for this tab. The Office Hours Tab can be used to enter the hours the employee is expected to be on duty per week.

This template is easy to use and is flexible enough to accommodate many different situations. You can use this template to track your employee attendance, or you can add it to your payroll software to track your employees’ time.
